Looked nice, but it's junk

I bought this case less than a week ago at my Verizon retailer. I liked the overall look of it and it seemed like a quality case, but it isn't. It fits my phone very nicely, but the volume and power buttons to no interface well with the phone, which is inconvenient and aggravating. That was enough for me to want to return it, but while I was examining the case a few minutes ago I see that the clear finish over the red color is beginning to peel at the corners. I picked this case up on Sunday and it is Friday and the case is failing! That is unacceptable. The retailer will not give me a refund and sent me to the manufacturer, so here I am, reading other reviews with the same peeling issue. Bad control buttons and a faulty finish on a $50 case?!? That is unacceptable, and I want my money back, not another case from you.
I should have read the reviews before I purchased, but I trusted my retailer. I will be pursuing this with the retailer with a recommendation to pull your products. This product is a complete ripoff.

Color not durable

I love the red color but the edges along the back of the phone are already peeling and color wearing off the corners.
